Yapi Kredi Deutschland reserves the right to adjust the interest rate for the instant access savings account depending on the current market situation and its own business strategy.

You can open an account in the app (on your smartphone) if you:

- are at least 18 years old
- are a resident of the US
- have a compatible smartphone
- have a supported ID document
- do not already have an account with us

 

The reference account is the checking account at your primary bank. Linked to your instant access savings account, it offers additional security for your transfers. It is the only account to which transfers can be made and from which deposits can be accepted.

You can make deposits by transfer from your checking account (reference account). You can easily request withdrawals via online or mobile banking. Of course, you can also request withdrawals in writing.

The bank is supervised by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) and, in addition to the statutory deposit guarantee scheme for banks at the German Banks Compensation Scheme (Entschädigungseinrichtung deutscher Banken GmbH), is also assigned to the Deposit Protection Fund within the Association of German Banks (Bundesverband deutscher Banken e.V.).

The account with Yapi Kredi is free of charge – you don't pay anything for transfers to your reference account either.

You must have a German residence and a checking account in Germany. Once you have been successfully identified, we will open your new Yapi Kredi instant access savings account in your name.
